Harness your leadership potential with the power of horses.
The workshop covers four key leadership areas—emotional intelligence, adaptability in challenging situations, non-verbal communication, and decision-making under pressure—to help leaders grow their self-awareness and effectiveness. Grounded in experiential learning, our Leadership sessions are immersive, insightful, challenging, and transformative, providing a unique environment for personal and professional growth.
So, what makes our workshops unique?
One member of your team is a horse. Literally.
All workshops are ground-based and everyone is welcome. You don’t need any previous experience with horses — in fact, our workshops are the first time many participants have ever seen a horse up close.
Horses, with their natural intuition and sensitivity, offer honest and immediate feedback, helping leaders become more self-aware. They reflect leadership styles through their behavior, making them the perfect co-facilitators for leadership development. Without the ability to mask their reactions, horses give leaders real-time insight into how they communicate, manage pressure, and inspire trust. Through this dynamic interaction, leaders develop emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to lead with presence and authenticity.
Leaders with high emotional intelligence (EQ) understand and manage their emotions and those of others. Horses, being sensitive to nonverbal cues, help leaders become more aware of their own emotional states and how they affect others. Through this interaction, participants learn to regulate emotions, fostering better communication and conflict resolution.
Effective leaders adapt quickly in unpredictable environments. Horses mirror how we respond to stress and uncertainty, providing leaders with real-time feedback. By working with horses, participants enhance their flexibility and ability to stay calm under pressure, allowing them to lead effectively during times of change.
Over 90% of communication is non-verbal, and horses are masters of picking up on subtle cues. In the workshops, leaders develop a deeper understanding of how their body language and presence impact others. This heightened awareness improves interpersonal interactions and inspires trust in teams.
In fast-paced environments, leaders must make confident decisions under pressure. Horses respond to the clarity of direction and purpose. Participants practice decision-making in a safe space where immediate feedback from the horse sharpens their ability to lead decisively, even in high-pressure situations.
Facilitated by a Horse Specialist, each Leadership workshop takes place in a peaceful outdoor setting. The full-day session focuses on four core leadership traits—emotional intelligence, adaptability in challenging situations, non-verbal communication, and decision-making under pressure. Each trait is explored through a series of engaging, hands-on activities with the horses. A catered break is provided midway through the workshop, allowing time to reflect and recharge.
Our sessions are conveniently located at Pandora Park, just a 35-minute drive south of the city. If you’re chomping at the bit and keen to learn more about this hands-on workshop or book one for your team, contact us.
